COMMON QUESTIONS
Yes — you need your own active MC carrier authority. CrestHaul holds separate FMCSA freight broker authority (MC-56480811). As your broker, we find loads and connect you with shippers. You haul as the carrier of record under your own MC — we do not operate under your authority and we are not a dispatcher. Both authorities are separate and required.
Two ways — driver uses whichever fits their workflow. Text: Send the load number + a photo of the signed BOL/POD to our dispatch number (phone must be registered in the carrier portal first). Rose Rocket: Upload directly if you're running RR. Once we receive the documents, we create the invoice, submit it, and send you a copy. You don't touch the paperwork.
